James Duncan Davidson has a good article on how to get the subversion source control system installed using DarwinPorts. I’ve been using subversion for quite some time via DarwinPorts but haven’t yet installed it for use with Apache2 (prefering the +ssh access method) although Jame’s article has inspired me to give it a try (one caveat - Mac OS X Server already has a binary of Apache2…)
One thing I’d add is to use the ‘-c’ switch when installing your ports to make DarwinPorts clean up behind it.
